After working throughout the Chicago area for a few years, Dr. Bella is excited to join Bowdental full-time! She will be working alongside her sister (Dr. Duarte) and brother-in-law (Dr. Bowden) and looks forward to meeting new patients. Learn more about Dr. Bella below.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Growing up in a family of healthcare providers, Dr. Bella always knew she would find her way into the field. As a child, she spent plenty of time in the orthodontic chair and was fascinated watching her teeth gradually shift into alignment. When her smile transformed, so did her confidence. That experience inspired Dr. Bella to pursue dentistry and help others achieve healthy, confident smiles of their own.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Bella graduated from the University of Notre Dame before she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. She continues to stay engaged in the professional community and is affiliated with the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and SPEAR Academy.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Bella loves being in the great outdoors, whether it’s on a hiking trip or simply relaxing on her balcony. Her mission is to visit all of the National Parks – her favorite so far is Bryce National Park. She loves to read and always welcomes new book recommendations!
